Welcome to the Miss North Jefferson County website.  Miss North Jefferson County is an official preliminary to the Miss Alabama/Miss America Scholarship Pageants.  This scholarship pageant was reinstated in the North Jefferson County area in 2005 as an official Miss Alabama Preliminary Pageant.  This gives the young ladies in North Jefferson County a chance to participate in the wonderful scholarship opportunities offered by the Miss Alabama/Miss America systems. 

These pageants are no longer merely beauty pageants, but through these competitions many young women are granted the opportunity to further their education.  The Miss America system is the largest source of scholarhsip funding to young women today. 

This Prelimminary Pageant would not be possible if not for clubs and individuals who support and contribute.  Our heartfelt thanks goes out to all those who have made this scholarship pageant possible in the past-and those who make it possible today.
